PLEASE READ THIS DISCLAIMER CAREFULLY BEFORE PROCEEDING WITH THE BIOS UPDATE.
⚠️ High‑Risk Operation
Updating the BIOS is a high‑risk operation that may cause irreversible damage if not executed properly.
1. Potential Risks & Issues
An interrupted, corrupted, or failed BIOS update may result in severe system malfunctions, including but not limited to:
- System "Brick" / No Boot: The PC becomes completely unresponsive, fails to POST, or displays a black screen.
- Hardware Instability: Unexpected crashes, Blue Screens of Death (BSOD), or boot loops.
- Component Malfunction: Loss of functionality for specific hardware components, ports, or features.
⚠️ WARRANTY VOID CLAUSE
CRITICAL NOTICE: Any damage, system failure, or hardware malfunction caused by a BIOS update—including power interruptions, flashing incorrect BIOS version, or improper installation—is NOT covered under the Hoengager standard manufacturer warranty.
By proceeding, you acknowledge: You perform this update entirely at your own risk. Hoengager is not liable for direct/indirect damages, data loss, or hardware failures. Repairs due to BIOS corruption will be subject to out-of-pocket fees.
✅ Recommendations Before Proceeding
- Do Not Interrupt: Never turn off, restart, or unplug your PC during flashing.
- Stable Power: Use a UPS (Uninterruptible Power Supply) — highly recommended.
- Correct Version: Double-check that the BIOS file matches your exact Hoengager PC model.
- Backup Data: Back up all critical data before initiating the update.
In order to play certain games like Call of Duty Black Ops, you may need to perform a BIOS update.
If your Hoengager Gaming PC is currently running stably and can play all games needed, we strongly recommend NOT updating the BIOS.
