BIOS UPDATE

BIOS Update Disclaimer for Hoengager Gaming PC
PLEASE READ THIS DISCLAIMER CAREFULLY BEFORE PROCEEDING WITH THE BIOS UPDATE.

⚠️ High‑Risk Operation

Updating the BIOS is a high‑risk operation that may cause irreversible damage if not executed properly.

1. Potential Risks & Issues

An interrupted, corrupted, or failed BIOS update may result in severe system malfunctions, including but not limited to:

  • System "Brick" / No Boot: The PC becomes completely unresponsive, fails to POST, or displays a black screen.
  • Hardware Instability: Unexpected crashes, Blue Screens of Death (BSOD), or boot loops.
  • Component Malfunction: Loss of functionality for specific hardware components, ports, or features.

⚠️ WARRANTY VOID CLAUSE

CRITICAL NOTICE: Any damage, system failure, or hardware malfunction caused by a BIOS update—including power interruptions, flashing incorrect BIOS version, or improper installation—is NOT covered under the Hoengager standard manufacturer warranty.

By proceeding, you acknowledge: You perform this update entirely at your own risk. Hoengager is not liable for direct/indirect damages, data loss, or hardware failures. Repairs due to BIOS corruption will be subject to out-of-pocket fees.

✅ Recommendations Before Proceeding

  • Do Not Interrupt: Never turn off, restart, or unplug your PC during flashing.
  • Stable Power: Use a UPS (Uninterruptible Power Supply) — highly recommended.
  • Correct Version: Double-check that the BIOS file matches your exact Hoengager PC model.
  • Backup Data: Back up all critical data before initiating the update.

In order to play certain games like Call of Duty Black Ops, you may need to perform a BIOS update.
If your Hoengager Gaming PC is currently running stably and can play all games needed, we strongly recommend NOT updating the BIOS.

Check exact model Use FAT32 USB No power interruption

Downloading and using an incorrect BIOS file will cause system "brick" / No boot, which is NOT covered by warranty.

📀 Steps of Updating BIOS

  • Step 1: Confirm motherboard model
Go to BIOS mainpage by tapping "DEL" key repeatedly right after power on. Write down the exact model (e.g., B550E-B, A520+ B/W, B550-VH, B550 PLUS, H610 VH4, B550M WIFI ICE).
  • Step 2: Download correct BIOS files
Select your motherboard model from the download cards below. WARNING: Incorrect file = permanent brick, no warranty.
  • Step 3: Prepare USB drive & install
Follow the PDF instructions. Ensure USB drive and port are in good condition. Once started, the process CANNOT be interrupted or cancelled. An interrupted/corrupted update will cause severe system malfunctions (brick, instability, component failure).
